Happy Holidays!

I took some pictures of our tree, and had planned to write a lovely post about our Holiday traditions, but here were are, on the day before Christmas Eve, and I have not yet finished shopping or gotten all the things we need for said traditions. (Seriously, America when will Christmas Crackers catch on and be readily available here in the States?) So I am going to spend my afternoon running around, picking up these things, and also attempting to take Ivy to get a haircut so her bangs are finally out of her eyes and she can look super cute for all her Christmas pictures.

Now, ahem, without further ado, I present you Ivy’s 2010 Santa picture, take 2. After waiting online for an hour (Ivy was actually really well behaved thanks in no small part to Pingu videos on my sister’s Droid) I vowed to purchase the pictures no matter how bad they were. The photographers took 3 pictures. She showed me this one and said “This is the best one – it almost looks like she’s laughing really hard”. And it seems to be the consensus amongst other parents I know that buying a picture of your kid screaming on Santa’s lap is a right of passage.

So Happy Holidays my friends! Wishing you and your family a festive, warm celebration!
